Funds from The Ontario Mental Health Foundation are available to Canadian citizens, permanent residents and those who have applied for permanent residency:*
- who have an appointment at, or an affiliation with an Ontario post-secondary institution;.
- who have no institutional affiliation** but whose primary residence is in Ontario; and/or
- who, in the case of studentships, must be enrolled in a degree-granting program at an Ontario post-secondary institution.
*Applicants who are recommended for funding must be officially granted permanent residency before the review committee makes its final recommendations to the OMHF’s Board of Directors.
**Applicants who are not institutionally based must have a mechanism for scientific, ethical and financial accountability, and for meeting the standards of excellence expected of all applicants.
